Currently enrolled students who have paid the $17/semester ($14 during Summer semester) Health Services fee are eligible to receive services. There is no minimum unit requirement. Palomar College Health Services will also evaluate and refer any faculty/staff member or campus visitor who is in need of emergency medical attention.


A scheduled appointment is the preferred method to receive services at Palomar College Health Services. Appointments may be made in person at Health Services or by telephone at (760) 744-1150 x 2380 (San Marcos) or (760) 432-0624 x 8105 (Escondido Center). Same day appointments or walk-in care is available whenever the appointment schedule has openings.


Any information you provide to Palomar College Health Services staff is protected by law as well as by Health Services policy. Medical records are confidential and entirely separate from academic records. Palomar College administrators, faculty, parents, spouses, and partners do not have access to your medical records.

National privacy laws also require the safeguard of protected health information (PHI) that includes your name, address, phone number, Social Security number, other demographic information, and any information related to your health condition or diagnosis.

Medical information is released only with written consent from the client, except in the following cases:

  • Certain communicable diseases and conditions are reported to the Public Health Department as required by law
  • Court order
